* Why are local and world missions important to us?
Missions are the lifeblood to the Kingdom of God, “Matthew 28:18-20.” Here at Harmony we believe that without helping people with their physical needs, it is almost impossible to help them with their spiritual needs. Mission work happens in our community, state, nation and all around the world, “Acts 1:8.” In today’s world we cannot sit back and wait for people to come to our church to find out about Jesus, we have to go to them. Here at Harmony, we have a mission team and are currently doing mission work through our small groups, our youth ministry and our Pastor takes people to Honduras to do missions every year. We view mission as a door that God has placed in front of us and it is wide open, we must be faithful to walk through it and be faithful to the calling that God has put in our hearts.
