took on the mission statement, A People Striving To Make Christ Known, and that is what they have done. In Dwain’s tenure the church has baptized close to 300 people and taken multiple mission trips in the USA and Honduras. There have been several young men surrender to the ministry, under his leadership.
Harmony is Dwain’s third church to pastor, all of which have been in Missouri. He was saved as an adult and looks at the church in a different way than a lot of people. Before God called him into the ministry he worked in a family owned auto repair shop for 17 years.
Dwain is married to Leslie for almost 25 years, they have two grown daughters, 2 son in laws and 3 granddaughters. Leslie is on the church staff as the Director of student ministries.
Dwain attended Moberly Area Community College, Hannibal-LaGrange College and Midwestern Baptist Seminary.
Dwain likes to play golf, go Jeeping, read, travel, spend time with his family, and go to the beach.
Dwain’s life verse is 2 Timothy 1:3.
